About Dr. Alvin C. Georges

Apostle Alvin C. Georges is founder and senior pastor of The Fullness of the Spirit Ministries Church, Chesapeake, Va., where he has pastored for over twenty years. He is a native of Brooklyn, New York.

He was called to the ministry in 1973, served as junior pastor and evangelist at New Deliverance Evangelistic Center, Newark, NJ,
under the leadership of the late Apostle Arturo Skinner.

Apostle Georges attended New York City College and Deliverance Bible Institute. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and Doctorate of Ministry.

He is president of Fullness of the Spirit Ministries Christian Institute and
has served on the National Advisory Boards for Logos Christian College and Graduate School, Jacksonville, Fl.

Apostle Georges is an anointed man of God whose ministry provokes
excellence and emphasizes, “Being filled with the Spirit,: and “endeavoring to keep the Unity of the Spirit in the bonds of peace.”

He is strongly supported by his wife of 33 years, Pastor Annette Georges, their three gifted adult children, Christopher, Alvin, Cherise, and daughter in laws Traci & Dionne, four grand-children Alivia, Alia, Christopher Jr., and Aria & mother-in-law Mrs. Esther Friend who all work closely by his side.

About Dr. Annette C. Georges

Pastor Annette C. Georges has known the Lord since age 12. She was a member of the Newark Deliverance Evangelistic Center in Newark, New Jersey under the leadership of the late Apostle Arturo Skinner. She graduated from the Deliverance Bible Institute and Kean State College. She also received a Master’s of Theology Degree from LOGOS International Bible College and Graduate School.

Pastor Georges began ministering in 1967 as a missionary at the Deliverance Evangelistic Center and was ordained an evangelist in 1970. After moving to Norfolk, Virginia with her husband, Reverend Alvin C. Georges in 1976, she was ordained Pastor to work along side him as they pastored Miracle Deliverance Center. In 1983, they established The Fullness of the Spirit Ministries where she teaches and encourages women to become great women of God.

Pastor Georges is also the Dean of Students for LOGOS Christian College, Chesapeake Campus. She has received national recognition in Who’s Who Among Teachers for her teaching ability. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother of three adult children; Christopher, Alvin, and Cherise, and she has recently retired from the Norfolk Public School System

Mission Statement

To perfect and equip ladies of all races, color, and ethinic for the work of ministry. To help ladies learn to work with other s effectively that they will grow in love. To teach ladies how to live successful and complete lives for the building up of the body of Christ, developing faith in God maturing love with soundness in doctrine and enhancing gifts and talents by the “fullness of God’s Spirit”.

This women’s ministry is a catalyst by which our visionary can teach and instruct woment to become greater women of God. It is designed for women to have fellowship with one another, During these times we can have fun and learn more about each other while experiencing the love of God. This ministry is designed to have quesitons answered when we only desired to have women listen and respond. We desire to have growth in all aspects of the ministry, spiritual growth, financial growth, and growth in attendances.

Women have always played an active role in the body of Christ, as you study the Word of God, you will find many great women of God in the bible. Some you are familiar with and some that are not so easily seen. However menial you might thing the task may seem to be they were all important in expanding the Kingdom of God.

Judah Praise Dance Ministry

The Vision:
When we dance and praise God, it is spiritual warfare and the battle is already won over the enemy! We have the victory, the enemy is already defeated because the battle is not ours, it is the Lord’s. We must praise Him in advance for the victory.

Based on the following scriptures:
2 Chronicles 20:17, 22, 24, 27
17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Purpose:
To help children, youth and adults gain deeper relationship with Christ, increased self-esteem and confidence, and freedom from spiritual bondage through worship and praise movements.

The Goals:

1. To praise and worship God through movement,
2. To edify the body of God through movement,
3. To minister to unbelievers causing their heart to turn from sin to God by accepting his son Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, through movement.

Practices are:
Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m.

Arrows127 is more than just a typical youth group. It’s a movement designed to offer positive alternatives for youth against the negative risks in their communities.

Our mission is to gather the generation (under 21) from near and far to build positive relationships, character, spiritual awareness, strong citizens, and leaders without compromising their unique gifts, creativity, and individuality. Every willing arrow will be guided with direction and launched to hit the mark of their destiny.
