Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs

1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible,

2. In one God eternally existing in three persons, namely the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost,

3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor,

4. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and the repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for the forgiveness of sins,

5. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

6. In sanctification subsequent to new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost,

7. Holiness to be God’s standard for living for His people,

8. In the baptism of the Holy Ghost,

9. In speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives utterance, and that is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

10. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

11. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement,

12. In the Lord’s supper and washing of the saint’s feet,

13. In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years,

14. In the bodily resurrection eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

15. Tithes and Offering.

The Worship

Worship is a vital part of our individual and corporate life here at The Fullness of the Spirit Ministries Church. Jesus said that the kind of worship which God seeks is done in the spirit and in truth. (John 4:24). We here at Fullness of the Spirit love the Lord and desire to please Him through our worship… Those who love the Lord worship Him in the spirit and put no confidence in the flesh.
-Philippians 3:3

Why do we clap our hands?

O clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
-Psalms 47:1

Why lift our hands?

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
-Psalms 134:2

Why do we stand when singing?

And the Levites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice.
-2 Chronicles 20:19

Why do we sing in tongues?

I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also; I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
-I Corinthians 14:15

Why do we use musical instruments and dance?

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. “Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord…”
-Psalms 150:3-6
