FSM Bible Institute
Are you hungry for the Word of God and want to know more? Are you ready to prepare for what God has for you in ministry? Has God given you or your church a vision that will take qualified people to carry it out? if your answer is yes to any of these questions then our 2008-2009 curriculum is designed with you in mind.
OVERVIEW
We are offering an institute program for those who want to know more about the word of God, focusing on practical application with less intensive requirements. You will receive a Certificate awarded upon completion.
MISSION STATEMENT
“To equip men and women to minister the Word of God with power, to heal the broken hearted, and to set the captives free.”
PURPOSE
F.S.M. Bible Institute is a spirit filled ministry with a vision for the lost. The ministry is national in its scope, and is committed to the building up of the body of Christ. Students are trained, educated and challenged from the scriptures, to better support their pastors as well as minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
GOALS
The primary goal of the school can be expressed in one sentence: To equip men and women to minister the Word of God with power:
- in the local church in a lay capacity
- in part-time ministry
- in full time ministry
F.S.M. B.I. is also a short– term, part time school, placing a major emphasis upon helping our students to develop their God given ministry potential. Our goals are not only academic, but spiritual and practical.
We have built our curriculum around three major learning streams:
The Bible: To understand better and to handle more wisely the sacred scriptures ( I Timothy 4:6-16;6:3-5;II Timothy 2:15).
Character Growth: To strive toward “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” and reach toward maturity in leadership and in servant hood (Ephesians 4:13-16)
Preparation for Ministry: To enable each person to discover his or her calling in God and to serve Christ and the Church successfully. ( Ephesians 4:11-12; Romans 12:1-7; I Corinthians 2:4-31. Acts 1:8)
Our curriculum also contains a number of key themes such as concepts to the Church, relationship to the world, basics of Christian life, various major doctrines, pastoral theology, urban missions, counseling skills, and so on.
